About Us

East Cork Choral Society is a choir for soprano, alto, tenor and bass, with about 60 singers drawn from all walks of life. We give regular performances of all the major oratorios with professional soloists and orchestras. We always welcome new members, it's never too late to join. If you would like to join us please see our "New Members" link at the top of this page!


Our rehearsals take place on Thursdays at 8pm in St Mary's High School.

Our Musical Director is COLIN NICHOLLS. He has recently retired as Organist and Master of the Choristers of St Fin Barre's Cathedral in Cork.

Opening Gala Concert Cork International Choral Festival

Tickets are now Available for our Opening Gala Concert for the Cork International Choral Festival

The Opening Gala of the Cork International Cork Festival on Wednesday 18th April in Cork City Hall will be a Celebration of Irish Music with the Band of the Defence Forces and the Festival Chorus comprised of Goethe Institute ChoirViva Voce Choir and East Cork Choral Society, conducted by Lt. Col. Mark Armstrong and Captain Brian Prendergast.
